of the bottling
line

Today, the beers brewed on the site of l'Abbaye du Val-Dieu are inspired by the original recipes of the monks of the Abbey, faithful to the tradition of bottled refermented beers. The beers are authentic Belgian abbey beers.

Our Brasserie offers consumers a high-quality, distinctive and characterful Abbey beer. For many years, it has experienced very good growth on the local market but also internationally.

As part of our expansion, we are currently looking for a bottling line supervisor to strengthen our team.
Your mission

The bottling line supervisor for the Brasserie Val-Dieu will hold the following responsibilities:

  • Supervise and assist bottling operations; tank unloading; CIP.; check the proper functioning of the machines and intervene directly if necessary.
  • Organise and direct work by a team of 5 to 10 people to achieve the planned schedule.
  • Possibly required to prepare the beer before bottling.
  • Guarantee the quality of Val Dieu beers and comply with procedures. Take an active part in quality assurance and food safety. Suggest improvements.
  • Work closely with the Production Manager, check the safety of everyone at work (PPE).
  • Perform daily reporting to the maintenance manager; participate in simple adjustments and repairs.
  • Perform the administrative tasks of the role: encoding, monitoring of production parameters, management of services.
Profile

As a bottling line supervisor, you have the following profile:

  • Several years of experience in a similar function in the food industry.
  • Good interpersonal skills to ensure teamwork.
  • Familiar with technical aspects: adjustments, maintenance, …
  • Organised, practical and independent.
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule as required.
  • Able to tolerate the stress/pressure/noise of a production line.
