The company offers management systems as well as effective and consistent support for its clients’ various IT projects. The company consists of a close-knit team of 25 employees specialising in different areas of IT.

We cover the whole of Belgium, both for small organisations and for companies with several hundred employees. We make it a point of honour to tailor our solutions to each client and to ensure a high level of responsiveness from our staff.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for an ERP Project Manager to join our Software team and contribute to the optimisation and development of our ERP.

Your mission

As an ERP Project Manager,

 

  • You will be responsible for software implementation, managing projects from A to Z (functional and technical analyses, budgeting, configuration, follow-up, training) at our clients’ sites.
  • You will master ALTIORE procedures and methodologies and ensure they are followed.
  • You will work closely with the client manager and the development manager to understand each client’s needs, identify technical solutions, assess the required resources, prepare budgets, and optimise the implementation of our ERP to ensure the proper functioning of business processes.
  • You will validate the proposed solutions with the client.
  • You will draw up a plan and follow it throughout the project.
  • You will ensure compliance with the budget and deadlines provided to the client, as well as the proper progress of the project.
  • You will identify shortcomings (skills, resources, software, etc.) and any potential client complaints, and escalate them to the development manager and management.
  • You will prepare and share regular reports with clients, colleagues and management on project progress and decisions taken, in order to maintain transparency and overall visibility.
  • You will monitor any orders for services and equipment sent to subcontractors.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring that functional and technical analyses are properly maintained.
  • You will oversee development and support, which you will monitor closely.
  • You will manage several projects simultaneously and move them forward in parallel, while applying the right priority to each project.
  • You will take on this role in terms of availability.
Your profile

Education:

  • Degree in IT, software development or equivalent.

Experience:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in deploying a complete ERP covering all the functionalities of a commercial company (purchasing, sales, stock, deliveries, accounting, etc.).

Technical skills:

  • Good knowledge of JAVA;
  • Good knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, DB2, DB2/400, etc.);
  • Knowledge of the AS400 platform is a plus.

Analytical skills:

  • Ability to understand and model business processes.
  • Technology and functional monitoring.

    • Autonomy:

  • Initiative and the ability to work independently while collaborating with other teams;
  • Ability to think abstractly and take a step back to gain an overall view and conceptualise ideas.

    • Communication:

  • Excellent listening skills;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills;
  • Ability to train end users
