Hardware technician intern Altiore

You will complete your internship in the Unibox Group, which is a family group of Belgian companies particularly active in the IT sector along with SA Altiore.

Altiore is an IT services company specialising in the design, implementation and assistance necessary to deploy management solutions for SMEs and SMIs.
The company offers management systems as well as an effective and coherent framework for its clients’ various IT projects. The company is built upon a small team, made up of 30 employees specialised in different IT fields.

We work throughout Belgium, both with individual freelancers and companies of several hundred people. We take pride in adapting our solutions to each client and ensure that our employees are highly responsive to your requests.

Your mission

As an infrastructure/network technician intern, you will work with and be supervised by a team of technicians.

The technicians are responsible for actively contributing to the proper functioning of our clients’ IT infrastructure. They provide help desk support (from the office) to clients and also make on-site visits.

Profile
  • You are a college or university student
  • You are independent, meticulous and precise
  • You speak English (written and oral)
  • You are capable of working in a team and individually
  • You have good organisational and time-management skills
  • You are creative, inquisitive and motivated

Knowledge of:

 

  • OS (Windows 7, 8, 10)
  • Networks (protocols, firewall, routers) – protocols (TCP/UDP)
  • PC hardware / printers
  • Hyper–V virtualisation, high availability
  • Microsoft tools: Exchange (online) / Office365
  • Windows servers
  • Language: written and spoken English
