As part of the development of its production activities, the Abbaye du Val-Dieu Brewery is looking for a versatile employee to strengthen its team at the Chaineux site.

We are looking for a hands-on, committed and meticulous person, ideally with initial experience in the food or brewing industry, who is keen to develop in a demanding and exciting production environment.

Your mission

As a Production & Packaging Operator, you will actively take part in the various stages of the Brewery’s beer production and packaging.

Your responsibilities include in particular:

  • Managing and operating kegging operations;
  • Taking part in bottling and packaging activities;
  • Cleaning and disinfecting operations for the installations (CIP – Cleaning In Place);
  • First-level adjustments and monitoring of production equipment;
  • Handling and supplying the lines;
  • Strict compliance with hygiene, safety and quality procedures;
  • General participation in operational tasks related to production.

Depending on your experience and development, you will gradually be able to take on more autonomy on certain installations and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes.

Profile

We are looking for a profile capable of understanding the technical and quality requirements of a food-processing environment.

You also have:

  • Experience in production in the food, brewing or beverage industry;
  • And/or relevant technical training (for example: food processing, brewing, production engineering, etc.).
  • A forklift operator certificate
  • A category B driving licence

You are:

  • Meticulous, reliable and organised;
  • Comfortable with physical work and teamwork;
  • Attentive to hygiene and quality standards;
  • Able to work independently after training;
  • Motivated by the brewing world and quality craft products.

Experience in the food industry is a real asset.
