Today marks an important milestone in the evolution of our leadership.
Our group is a family business firmly rooted in the Verviers region for many decades. Today, with more than 60 companies and 450 employees across Belgium and Spain, we have progressively expanded well beyond our historical activity in the café gaming sector.
Over the years, we have built a diversified model by investing in complementary sectors, notably through the Val-Dieu Abbey Brewery, the arcade game distributor Skillshot, the Univert Pauly-Andrianne garden center, the S’pace entertainment centers, the IT company Altiore, as well as Ventuno, a specialized coffee brand for the HoReCa sector.
In this context of development, we are announcing today an important evolution in our governance. After 12 years of collaboration, Jean-Marc Corteil will step down from his position as CEO. This transition marks a new chapter in the group’s development and history.
On this occasion, Victor Bosquin Jr. takes over the leadership of the group, representing the third family generation at the helm of the company, founded by his grandfather, Victor Bosquin Sr.
Active in our daily operations for 15 years, Victor Bosquin Jr. has progressively trained in the various professions and responsibilities of the company. This hands-on experience, combined with close mentorship from management, enables him today to take the reins with an in-depth understanding of the group’s operations and challenges.

Over the years, we have experienced sustained growth, driven by a diversification strategy and progressive structuring of our activities. Today, we rely on solid foundations, both organizationally and financially.
Our performance is based on rigorous management, experienced teams, and a proven organization. All of our employees, from company managers to operational teams, constitute a solid foundation on which we will continue to build.
In this context, this leadership transition is taking place in a climate of stability and continuity: our organization remains unchanged and nothing modifies the existing structures, which have demonstrated their effectiveness.
Victor Bosquin Jr. intends to continue the momentum established in recent years: strengthen the group’s growth, pursue its diversification, and seize new development opportunities.
“Our ambition is clear: continue to grow the group, remain attentive to market developments, and anticipate trends in order to maintain a competitive edge,” he specifies.
We can also count on a sound financial position, allowing us to look to the future with confidence and support our medium- and long-term development projects.
Victor Bosquin Jr. wishes to acknowledge the work accomplished by Jean-Marc Corteil:

He played a key role in structuring the group, notably by integrating practices inspired by major international groups while adapting them to our Verviers-based family business, which was his first mission. He also actively contributed to the diversification of our activities, which was his second mission, with the objective of reducing our historical dependence on the gaming sector. Finally, I wish to highlight the decisive role he played in my training and in preparing for this transition. His contribution has been instrumental in the evolution and professionalization of the group.”
Jean-Marc Corteil adds:
